These are three tenets of 'The Anachron', a virtual world, inhabited by the highest level of artificial intelligence (or Cold Friends) of the era. As long as denizens of The Anachron are oblivious to the real world, candidates may test the AI and interact with the world via simulations and varied styles of play.
However, as these interactions were captured and distributed to the public as the next evolution in entertainment, a few people began testing the limits of the AI. Little did they know there would be consequences, beyond the virtual world.
