There is a village in a remote part of the country where the emperor ruled the country. The village is a closed place with long-established traditions and a unique culture that is largely unaffected by outside influences. One young man, Koh Saiki, comes to visit the village.
He wore his long brown hair pulled back and a black sword on his waist. His eyes are filled with a strong will and determination to accomplish something.
“It's been a long time. It's been 10 years…”
The silence around him become even more pronounced as he speaks to himself. It is as if time have stopped in this village. Step by step, he approach the village gate.
“Stop!”
Suddenly, a girl appeared before him. Her indigo hair is pulled back high and she is dressed in a traditional blue fighter's outfit. Her appearance is both beautiful and somewhat regal.
The girl's voice sounded cold and stopped Saiki's movement. Her eyes are sharp, staring at Saiki from head to toe, as if assessing him in an instant. In her eyes, there is a clear warning about Saiki.
“You...”
Saiki's eyes narrow sharply as well. He immediately understands that this girl is no ordinary village guard. Her presence is that of a trained dragon warrior.
Yes, this village is the descendant of a dragon clan.
“Who are you?”
Son Rui asks, and Saiki decides to answer without concealment.
“My name is Koh Saiki.”
At the mention of his name, a suspicious look appeared on Rui's face. Then she asks in an even sharper voice,
“Why are you here?”
“It's top secret. I can't talk about it.”
Saiki's reply is short and full of conviction. He can't tell us his purpose for coming to this village.
“I see.”
Rui fell silent for a moment, then raised his hand lightly.
“I won't let you through, Get out of here!”
“Hey, wait!”
Saiki shouts, but Rui has already moved on to the next action. She braces herself for a moment, but Rui has already activated her technique.
“Water!?”
Rui's fist activates the power of water, benefiting from the dragon's power.
“Blue Dragon Wave!”
As soon as Rui shouts out, a stream of water shoots out from her hand and attacks.
(Oh, no!)
Saiki's shout came too late. The water stream swirl and sweep toward Saiki, and the power of the stream is extraordinary, and he is so overwhelmed by its force that he fall down before he can avoid it.
(...? He didn't resist?)
His power was useless here, as his affinity for water was at its worst. His technique was beyond his imagination, and he fell down before he had time to resist.
(The compatibility between water and fire is the worst, Bad luck...)
(What is this guy doing, is he kidding me?)
Looking down at the fallen Saiki, Rui is inwardly disappointed at his lack of resistance. Normally, he would have resisted, but he did not move at all.
“Hey, you. What are you coming here for?”
Saiki answered weakly.
“I came to see Furan.”
The moment he heard that name, Rui's expression stiffened.
Furan.
The name repeats over and over in her head. Furan is a special person in this village, and many of the people who come to see her relied on her abilities.
While Saiki slowly raises himself up, Rui stares at him. Doubts and confusion swirl in her mind. Why does Saiki come to see Furan? She still does not know the answer.
