Hi everyone, welcome to a brand new comic of mine!
Before we move on, a little backstory, in order to explain my format struggles: this year I have returned to art after few years of massive art blocks, and in January 2021 I challenged myself to draw something every day. It was going so well (still is!) that I started to upload these daily pictures to my Instagram (@dwejra.art, come say hi!) and then... my creativity unlocked and this comic just happened! But, for the first 4 pages, I was drawing it with IG format in mind, meaning very square panels forming a square page - a format that is not working very well with mobile phones, you know? So, because I am already more invested in this than I've been with a story in a long while, I am going to try to change it a bit - bear with me as I learn panels and scrollable formats.
I still want to keep the pages short, because I know myself and the only way that I can actually keep doing this - and keep having fun with it - is by making it in these small, easy to plan and execute pages. Again, who knows, maybe one day I will redo it properly and give you nice, flowing, long scrollable chapters, but if my almost 250 days of consecutive drawing taught me anything is to keeps things simple and do not apply to much pressure - just follow where the art journey takes me!
And I'm actually really excited about this one! :)
