In a little castle sits the Wolf King upon his throne. He hasn't moved from there for days. All he does are taxes and bills. His people are unhappy, and they riot. In comes Kuba, like their savior, with her scepter of purple light and her arms raised to the skies. She stops the fight with barely one word. She raises her arms, and all the goons and traitors and idiots and fighters alike run to her like sheep to their shepherd, or children to their mother.
And the fight stops, just like that.
But the story doesn't stop there: there are politics, and miracles, and little children putting their little noses where they don't belong. There's love, and broken friendships, and parenting. There's adorable little Boolo, for one, a three-year-old boy with a love for bread; there's Golden Wolf, the intendant; and there's Beeno, and Mishia, and Crystal Tear. There are a lot of people to meet; and with Kuba in Wolf Stone, maybe their fighting will stop forever. Maybe the king will even be happy again.
DREAMWALKERS is a multiple-books series. WOLF STONE -- updating on Wednesdays -- is the first book.
