In the world of Dust, life is as hard as the days are long. Most of the planet is covered in desert, with water and food both being hard to come by. In the town of Oasis, a misnomer if there ever was one, a thirteen-year-old orphan named Isaac has come looking for help for his hometown which has been taken over by a gang of outlaws that are as dangerous as they are mysterious. It is there that Isaac runs into a strange man who claims to be the God of Death, Azreal. From there, these two begin a journey that will take them all across the Regal Desert and through the curtain that separates humans and the mythical creatures that have been secretly surrounding them.
