1.After being expelled by the gods, Moland and Faland, brothers of blood, traveled for more than a hundred days and a hundred nights all over the sea of the world; until finally they saw land.
2.It was an unexplored land never for its people, finally they found love there and got married; but they did not take into account an evil that lurked in the new land. It was Slaemmurinn, the king of the goblins, who had a huge
Empire in that new land.
3.This one, jealous of Faland, challenged him to a contest of manhood. Faland lost and was kidnapped by Slaemmurinn, but before this happened, Moland, his wife; challenged the goblin King to the same manhood contest. If she lost, he could eat her husband and she would be his new wife. But Moland had one more request. The challenge would be at dawn; Without further questions, the goblin king accepted.
4. It seemed all lost to Moland, because she had nothing of man under her skirt, but thanks to some gods who still watched them from the stars; a trick came to mind. She killed a pig, and from it she made a large sausage, then picked many berries from the bushes and filled two large sacks. Finally, everything was placed under her skirt.
5. At dawn Slaemmunnin appeared, pulled down his pants and asked her to do the same. But Moland replied politely that he could not reveal his body to another that had not married; what the goblin king nodded as and to see the great length of her manhood, he touched above the skirt. It was so with this trick, Slaemmunnin lost his bet and returned Faland to his wife.
It was the myth that was represent in the circles of the strips. (Sorry for my poor english...)
