Something weird is going on in my small town.

Me and my grandma moved here only a year ago, but we quickly got involved with the community. She works at a grocery while I part-time at a bakery.

I don’t know when it started but I only took notice when I asked about a friend at a pharmacy near her job. She recently got married, but she stopped coming soon after, and everyone I talk to just pretends she doesn’t exist.

It leaves me to wonder, did I just imagine a whole person?
