Chapter 1 : The kids 

Sitting near an alley way are two boys no taller than 5 '3. Ja is the name of the one with dark brown hair, and  bright yellow eyes, with a peach color to his skin, and his brother Ronin having bright white hair with red eyes, and a pale skin tone. Sitting next to the water Ja sits crossing his legs on a bench, staring into the sky.  “A full moon ... .It's so big and bright” Ja says, panning over to look at Ronin “Hey Ronin, have you seen the moon tonight?” He asks him. Ronin folding clothes “yes Ja….I have seen the moon” He replies. Ja turns back around and continues to stare at the moon. “It's a full moon Ronin… when was the last time you've seen one?” Ja asks him enthusiastically. Ronin in the middle of folding clothes stops, looking over at Ja, he tilts his head. “When was the last time” he thinks to himself. Ja pointing at the moon, smiles hard. “Alright alright only for a little bit tho” He says to Ja. Sitting next to him on the bench they both look at the moon. “Can we sit here for a while?” Ja asks him. Ronin looks at Ja, “Now you know We have to get ready for tomorrow.” He says. Ja puts his head down, and sighs. “ I know”. They sit in silence for a minute as a breeze hits both of them. “Do you think the moon feels alone up there?” Ja asks. Ronin, confused, looks at him, “Do I think it's alone?” he thought to himself. “hmm..I think it's where it's supposed to be.” He says, as Ja continues to look at the moon. “Do you think we're alone for a reason too?”Ja asks. Ronin, seeing Ja eyes water looks down, trying to empathize with him. Ronin remembers that Ja has always been soft hearted. “ I think where we are now is for a reason.” Ronin says. Ja wiping a tear from his face looks at Ronin. “ The fact that we are alone, having no one to help us must be for a reason.” Ronin scooting closer to Ja wraps his arm around him. “It's to help us become stronger for one another,” he says. Ja looking over to Ronin smiles. “ Maybe you're right… I just wish we got to know who our parents were.” Ja says. Ronin sighs, looking down he twirls his thumbs. “ Me too, I wonder how they were…maybe they were agents” He says chuckling. “Or maybe they were murderous” Ja follows up with what Ronin said. They both begin laughing, “ hopefully they were good people wherever they are” Ronin says as he gets off the bench, walking towards the alley way. “Now come on Ja.. we have to get rest before we miss the train tomorrow” he says, while Ja nods his head following his lead. “You know Ja we still have extra money… probably get candy or something” Ronin says. “True, but don't you think that would be a waste.” He replies. Sitting down Ronin and Ja wrap themselves up in a blanket. “I don't think so, as long as I get a bite this time” Ronin says, while Ja smirks remembering he ate the whole candy bar last time they got one. “Good night Ja…remember we always have each other”  he says, Ja smiling turns over to get comfortable. Closing his eyes, Ja falls asleep. “You're a monster Ja ... .Nothing but a mistake” A deep demonic voice says as Ja wakes up tied down by chains as a blood like liquid begins to flow up his body. “HELP ME!” Ja cries as Ronin looks down on him from the little bit of light shown. “RONIN!” Ja yells, breaking one of the chains reaching out to him. The blood-like substance covers his face, as Ja wakes up hyperventilating. Ronin turns over to him, “ are you ok” he says comforting Ja. Breathing hard, he looks at his hands and grabs his face. “I had a really bad nightmare” Ja replies, Ronin patting his back, gets up, and stretches. “ We all have nightmares Ja, but we need to get ready to move towards the train station.” He says as he grabs his bag and throws Ja his. Getting up Ja rubs his head, still shook up about the dream, he looks at Ronin with worry. “ What's wrong?” Ronin asks. Ja looking at Ronin confused smiles, “Nothing” he says with a smile. They both grab their things and head toward the train station. 20 min pass as they begin to approach, they stop nearby as Ronin digs in his backpack. “Ja you need to stay here ok ... .I'll get the tickets” he says while Ja sits down against the wall. “Do we have any water… im dying” Ja says dramatically. Ronin snaps his fingers in front of Ja. “ Are you even listening?” Ronin asks Ja, wiping sweat from his forehead and nodding his head. “Yeah yeah I did.” he replies. Ronin then leaves his backpack and walks towards the booth, but as he leaves Ja out the corner of his eye sees an old lady with two police officers pointing at him. “Is she pointing at me?” Ja says to himself as he gets up, grabbing his and Ronin backpack he begins to walk towards the booth. “I said give me the tickets lady!” Ronin says. The lady at the booth smacks her lips, and crosses her arms. “ watch your tone little boy…I'm not allowed to hand tickets to minors” She says. Ronin, pointing his finger at her, gets upset. “ I told you I'm 18!” he yells. Ronin then feels someone pull on his arm. “ Hey that old lady and the cops are coming towards us”  Ja whispers as he points back at them. Ronin turns around, eyes widen, as Ja waves to them with a smile. “She looks ni…” Ja stops mid sentence as he gets pulled away at very fast speed. Looking down on the ground, sees his feet in the air. “I stole from that lady for a week!” Ronin yells as he puts Ja down. Looking at Ronin, Ja sees the officers running trying to catch them. “ Ja we need to split up, and meet back here in 10 minutes” He says as the announcer on the train gives a 15 min warning. Ja nods his head as he and Ronin split up, both running opposite from each other. “Hey get back here!” the officers shout as they begin to follow Ronin. “Ja you've always been strong, just dont show boat” Ronin thought as he ran past everyone in the train station, dodging and weaving. The officer chasing Ronin yells into his mic asking if he got the other kid. “I'M ON HIM…BUT HE'S FAST!” the officer yells while Ja cuts through corners juking him out. “ I have to meet up with Ronin” Ja thinks to himself, cutting out an alley running in between cars. Ja making it to an open field sees a cop car stop right in front a few feet in front of him. “Damn it…” Ja whispers as he slides, setting his feet on the ground, stopping instantly. Ja balling his fist twists his body all the way, making direct eye contact with the officer. The officer, in shock, smiles thinking he has got a chance to catch Ja. “I didn't wanna hurt you…but you leave me no choice” Ja says menacingly with a big smile on his face. Ja then takes a deep breath, and punches the officer in the chest, sending the officer 3 feet in the air. Shattering the officer's ribs, and knocking the air out of him. Gasping for air the officer crawls. “Ughn! Don't mess with me” Ja says doing an air thrust dance. Turning around he begins to run back towards the train station. “DID YOU GET HIM!” the officer chasing Ronin yells. The officer getting no response grunts, as he continues chasing Ronin. “Damn kid… I almost have you” he says, reaching out to Ronin just barely missing him. Ronin then turns back,  and smirks. “Too slow” he utters before biting down, as smoke begins to flow out his mouth. Stepping down  Ronin causes the concrete to crack as he takes off running 23 miles per hour. The officer seeing Ronin create more, and more distance between stares off into the distance in shock. Waiting for Ronin is Ja who is sitting on a bench patting his knees. Ja Waves as he sees Ronin come towards him, grabbing Ja, Ronin dashes past everyone entering the train right as the door closes. Ja, and Ronin finding a seat sit together. Gasping for air, Ronin looks into his backpack for water, but finds an empty water bottle. “I got thirsty…” Ja says shrugging his shoulders. Ronin, making a shocked face, looks around. “You couldn't save me a sip” he questions smacking him in the head with the empty bottle. “HEY I said I was thirsty.” Ja replies, rubbing his head. Ronin sighs, taking deep breaths he closes his eyes. “ Ja wake me up when the train gets to the next stop….i'm gonna take a nap.” Ja, looking out the window, turns to Ronin and nods his head as the train begins to move. Ja looking out the window thinks back on the chase they had, and begins to wonder if the officer is alright. Tilting his head he shrugs his shoulders, “ he should be fine…I barely put any force behind it” he thought, as he and Ronin continued their journey successfullying escaping the police. 

“So the boys got away” The chief officer says, to  officers that were chasing Ja, and Ronin. The officer grabbing his ribs groans in pain trying to get up. “Those boys were faster than you think” The other officer says, wiping sweat off his face. Another man with a trench coat and suit comes up to them, and lights a cigarette. “Officer Morgan, and charles…” He said to the two of them. “Detective Morales, what brings you here?” The chief officer asks. Morales standing 6 '2 with dark brown hair, and a filled in beard, and Brown eyes looks at the chief. “I couldn't believe what I heard through the radio,” he replied. Crouching down he looks at Officer Morgan, flicking his ribs. “How'd this happen?” Morales asked. Morgan, grabbing his ribs, tries to look away from Morales to ignore him. “I'm talking to you.” Morales said in a more serious tone. “The kid punched me in my chest,” Morgan replied. Morales chuckles as he moves on to Charles. “And you.” Charles sighs, as he looks at Morales defeated “He outran me.” he whispers. “Tsk…what a joke” Morales says as he walks over to the lady that started the chase. “You said these boys stole from you right?” He asks her. Nodding her head, she shows him a picture of the boys. “I..got this picture a while back” She says showing him the picture of Ja and Ronin walking down the street. “Red eyes and Yellow, right?” he asks. She then nods her head. Morales stares at the picture in great detail looking at Ja, and Ronin. “Not bad” he says as he hands the lady her picture. Morales begins to walk over to his bike, as the chief looks at him. “ Where are you going?” He asks Morales. “To see these boys for myself” he says as he drives off. 

The announcer on the train begins to announce the arrival to the city Gerusa. Ja, shoves Ronin to wake him up as they begin to get their bags. “New city, new chance” Ja says.
