A person once told me, that there are two different causes to feeling loneliness
The first one is physical solitude
it's when walls obsecure a prisoner's vision, hearing and movement
Effectively isolating them from the outside
They can find a way out of there by using a key or a device
but
that's all useless if the person doesn't want to leave
And that's where the real prison lies
It's the self
The self can keep a person within that prison by can convincing them that there is no way out of there
It can comfortably keep a person in there forever by using adaption
Find the peace within the silence, it says
Find the stability within the plain Greys, it says
so the prisoner remains despite having available materials for a tool
The self can form walls of emotions that change frequently, they are so flexible and uncontrollable that the keys are different each and every time
Making it seemingly impossible to leave
Making it seemingly impossible to connect with others
If I don't find a way out of this, the feeling of being alone despite being surrounded by friends and loved ones
Won't leave
And I'm willing to do whatever it costs to become truly free.
