Aelita sat, with her wings folded tightly against her back, on a bed that was enormous. The blanket on the bed, while soft, brought no comfort. The bed was meant for an adult human to sleep in. 

The old man had been the one to tell her that. The fairy did not know his name. She had no idea why he had kidnapped her. Aelita had been lifted out of her soft, comforting fairy nest and brought here so long ago.
