A 5 year old girl named Makai wakes up in the raging flames of a castle. Quickly leaving, she finds that she is one of the last of her species, and she can't remember this world at all. She can't remember the old world, either. All she knows is that she must find out why she ended up in that blaze; and why her mother left her.
