Creatures created via human DNA, ACOS (Artificially Created Organic Species) are unique to their human, and can take on hundreds of different physical combinations.
Decades later, humans have sealed themselves off in previously secret military training facilities in hopes of being able to return to the outside world one day, using the same 'weapons' which got them there in the first place: ACOS.
