Being someone who's a bit peculiar is never easy. The wrong skin color, or hair color, eye color, fat, short, tall. Any of a million things can set someone apart and pick them out for ridicule. But what if someone was created to stand out, created to never fit in because those doing the creating never wanted them to? What would that person do then?
She'd never wanted to be as she was. All she longed for was a man's strong arms around her, a voice telling her she'd always be safe. But when you're grown to be a weapon that looks as much feline as human, you don't get to choose your existence; it gets chosen for you.
So what do you do? Accept what life has forced on you, or do you fight for what you want? They were stupid enough to give her the tools, now she's going to use them. Because she knows somewhere out there, there's someone that will love her, someone that will take her away from all of this. All she has to do is find him.
