"Alex wake up" Said Mrs. Green Alex's mom as she was shaking him awake. "Nnnnnngh do I have to mom...?" Alex groaned clearly not wanting to get up. "Get up now it's a school day mister." Mrs. Green said in a stern tone. 

"Ugh why can't I just stay home for once mom...?" Alex said in a half tired and half annoyed voice. "Because first off I will not have you being lazy and sitting in the house all day and second you need your education Alex." Mrs. Green said as she headed towards Alex's bedroom door to leave. "Oh and remember sweetie you and your sister Cassie are going over to your dad's house for spring break." She said in a tone soft and calm. "The only thing that is actually enjoyable in my life." Alex mumbled as he grabbed a black tee-shirt and a pair of jeans. 

"Please don't talk like that in here dear." Alex's mom said in a concerning tone. "And don't forget to grab something to eat before you leave to go to school" She added before going to Cassie's room to get her dressed. After getting his clothes on he ran down stairs to get something to eat. "Hmm let's see what there is to eat." Alex said as he opened a cabinet. "Looks like it's pop-tarts for today." Alex sighed as he grabbed a pack from the box. "Another miserable day of school...here I come." Alex said in a dead type of tone.
