In a magically awakened Chicago, those with supernatural needs require a special set of experts. And from their home shop in Chinatown, the Five Wise Gals are ready to get the job done. From breaking curses, to finding lost items, to making just the right potion, they do it all. And if they can’t produce the exact solution you need, they have the connections to find someone who can.

A mere five years since their company's founding, these young ladies have already made quite the name for themselves.

Now if only their success in magic would translate into success in life and love ...

Sadly, due to a crazy amount of work, home, and personal health issues, I've put exactly zero hours toward this story for the last two months. As it stands now, the story is simply going to end abruptly with episode 46. I don't like it, but I can't justify devoting any of my vanishing free time toward working on this story that isn't engaging either readers or my own imagination any more.

I do intend to trickle out story until I reach episode 52 or so to get to a good stopping point, but I can't promise any sort of regular time schedule (which is more than a little frustrating after having made weekly postings faithfully for nine months). I may or may not have free time in July, but that's a long way off. That and who knows what else might pile on me in the mean time.

As I stated before, I will continue to leave the story available and free unless circumstances dictate otherwise. I may try to clean up some of the earlier episodes, but new content will be on indefinite hiatus. If at some point I get enough requests to continue, I will get back to editing and posting.

So, thanks to those who have read and hopefully been entertained. After all, an audience is really what makes writing worthwhile.

And who knows, maybe I might get the time and inspiration to start a new story here on Tapas?
