Well, it looks like the cold hard facts are that my story isn't really attracting or keeping a significant number of readers. I am very grateful for the handful of dedicated readers I have, but it just doesn't justify the time I'd need to continue editing and writing the story. I am thinking what's likely is this website tends to attract readers that prefer a different type of story than what I'm telling. I just don't have the time to promote my story while also doing two jobs, writing/editing, and handling a significant number of real life things.

With that in mind, my plan is to get up to the one year anniversary mark with episode 52. This is roughly the halfway point in Amy and Dan's story, which is a reasonable place to stop. I will continue to leave the story up afterwards unless circumstances dictate otherwise. I may try to clean up some of the earlier episodes, but new content will be on indefinite hiatus.

If at some point I get enough requests to continue, I will get back to editing and posting.

So, thanks to those who have read and hopefully been entertained. After all, an audience is really what makes writing worthwhile.
