Description
Noel, a native of France, a refugee in English exile and the son of a deceased businessman, made a Faustian pact with a demon named Michael years ago. But after his death, he found that the promised eternity in hell looked different than he thought. He was now doomed to live alongside the demon in his castle and serve him forever. Extremely amused at first, the demon Michael eventually realizes that people are much more than weak servants and stupid slaves. He realizes that everything he's learned about humans is wrong and begins to question his clan, his generation, and everything he knows. In this way he not only finds a connection back to his clan, he also finds an answer to a question he never dared to ask.
