Frost bite

The stars shine bright in the snow

The stars shine bright in the snow

Aug 03, 2017

Chapter 1 :

Ever since i was a kid i believed in all the story tales, but the one that stuck out the most was the tooth fairy.

What did she really look like?

Was she an actual fairy?

Did she have little fairies that collected teeth?

These thoughts had run through my head as a child, but as i grow older the thoughts diminished, I had heard of Jamie and his wild imagination with his friends, it was all just imagination right?

I brushed the hair blocking my sight to the side, i really needed a hair band or something, maybe i could ask Claire for one if she was still around. I grabbed my books and headed for her usual hang spot. It was under a bridge of all places. Like some hipster, I sighed and brushed the hair away from my face. I really needed the hair tie.

I sighed and leant against the bridge entrance, it was seriously getting cold. I had no idea how Claire hadn't gotten Pneumonia from being down here, I trudged in and saw her figure she was talking with her friends with a fire. That was pretty ballsy for her, she hated getting in trouble.

"Hey Claire!" i called, she whipped around and smiled before running over to me and hugging me, i laughed. "Can i borrow a hair tie?" i asked as she crushed my ribs.

"Sure! How did you know i was here?" she questioned, "Have you been stalking me?!" she faked gasped, i chuckled.

"Possibly" i muttered as she handed me a hair tie, and i handed her my spare assignment sheet, she groaned.

"Come on! we just finished the last one yesterday!" she said groaning and whining.

"see ya Claire, have fun!" i said running.

It was soon the long weekend and i would be able to go back to my hometown and see my parents and old friends.

"Jack! you can't keep running from this, from us..." I yelled, it echoed off the white surrounding, he stopped dead in his tracks. Hunched over clutching his staff tight before sprinting off.
