Sisters were boring.
This was the conclusion that twelve-year-old Misty Callahan had come to during the last couple of days. She hadn't even met the young girl who was going to be her new stepsister, but already she could tell that she was going to be boring. If she was the kind of kid that her father liked, Misty figured that she had to be the kind of kid that she wouldn't like.
Well, Getting to Know You was not meant to be my next story. But it’s been screaming write me so loudly that I haven’t been able to start the story I meant to have up next, The Dark Princess, outside of a vague outline. So, I hope you guys enjoy the story that decided today was the day it wanted to be started.
