Millions of years after the Earth has died out, humans reside on an ice giant called Thill in a far off galaxy. The population resides on half the planet, in constant light as the other half of the planet remains in darkness, uninhabitable. The people have thrived for thousands of years, but in the last few hundred years something has gone wrong in their makeup. They die young.
To keep the population alive, once children reach fifteen they must take on responsibility of population.
Eli is fifteen and he is different. He must leave his home to survive as the government chases him down for his differences they find as a threat to their very existence.
