Four heralds set out to find the One Tower and collect the essences of the ancient heroes to bring back to their regions. The authorities of the regions would then imbue a powerful warrior with the essence belonging to the respective regions. When they arrive, the Heralds find a person named Aoki, who can channel light. She doesn't have much time to explain before the Darkans arrive...
