Creek, a runaway, finds himself lost among the Slums of Hyacinth . Desperate for shelter, he accepts a strangers offer to "join the fox" before collapsing.
Upon his awake he is informed that he's been recruited by "The Black Locust", a gang within the Slums. Much to their leader's disapproval.
If he is to survive, he must forget his past and start anew. And if he is to stay within "The Black Locust", he must earn their trust and aid Trevor in his spiteful conquest.
