Streaks of crimson, orange, lavender and dazzling colours creeped through the bay window. Colours were crushing together as if they could sense my pleasant mood as I gazed at the sunset. The sun creating room for the moon to continue it's journey.
There was a knock at the door disrupting my appreciation of the meticulous sunset that looked like a photoshopped masterpiece.
"Madam is inviting you for evening tea." The maid announced with a trembling voice, I hated it the most when interrupted.
I nodded, not changing my head to look at her, the fireball sun sinking low was just something I couldn't miss.
"Come sit with me darling", Domorias Sigahna, my mother, gestured at her closest beigere chair with a smile.
"What do U think of my new earrings?" I sat down with my head tilted to the side, my long black silky hair tucked neatly behind the ears. Chandelier earrings sat penduntically on my ears, creating a beautiful scenery.
"I always trust your sense of fashion, though they inflate your pointy ears, making them appear elf like."
"Otherwise they are beautiful." She didn't forget the compliment.
Melia is an elf who lived with the Sigahna family for all she remembers, they treated her like their real daughter, or so the thought. Then one day she hears them discussing how to kill her. Melia decides to run for her life and ends up Eliza Adroa's personal maid, a cold tycoon. Will Melia be able to live the peaceful life she hoped for or continue running for her life?
