“For the last time I was at home last night”, a frustrated woman said to a policeman.
“Well according to a witness you were the last person to see him and now he is dead”, replied the policeman with a clear look of disbelief.
“Witness, huh let me guess was it Mr Churn”. The woman said rolling her eyes in disgust. “Why would I even kill a client or anyone I-”
“Maybe you were angry at him”, the policeman replied cutting her off. While glaring at her face he continues to say, “He's the one who gave you that bruise you're trying to hide with your hair right? It looks fresh”.
“I'm not dumb enough to fall for your tricks, you are trying to coerce me into implicating myself”, the woman replied covering the bruise with her hair. “Besides a lot of my clients get violent yet you don't see them dead. How about instead of accusing me of a crime I didn't commit, you maybe you should look into the real criminals in this area”. Tuning around to leave the woman said, “Since you aren't arresting me that must mean that you don't have enough evidence to arrest me so if you'll excuse me I will be returning home”.
Angered by what the woman said the policeman had no choice but to return to his car and drive away.
After entering her trailer the woman locked the door and looked out the window making sure that the policeman did leave. After confirming that he had left the woman threw her keys down and screamed.
“For fuck sake, How can they possibly think that I killed that asshole? I mean yea I hated him and he was a dick but come on.
Pacing up and down her trailer the woman had a look of anxiety on her face. Biting her right thumbnail she starts to think. “Is he going to come back and arrest me? No, if they believed it was me I would be in the back of a police car. Right”?
Before she could continue her thoughts she was startled by a loud banging on the door. It was so loud that it sounded like the door would break off any second.
“I know you're in there Caitlin. You better open this fucking door right now you bitch”. The man, clearly angered continues to bang on the trailer door.
Letting out a big sigh Caitlin composed herself and went to the trailer door and opened it. “Hey Mr Churn”, she said to a man dressed up in a suit.
“Don't hey me. Mind telling me what happened to your client yesterday? You were supposed to sleep with him not kill him what-”
Interrupting Mr Churn Caitlin quickly responds. “That's not true, I didn't kill him I swear”.
“Oh yea”, Mr Churn said clearly with a face of disbelief.
Looking at his face Caitlin instantly recognised it as it was the face policeman had shown her earlier.
“Fine if you didn't kill him tell me what happened yesterday,” impatiently waiting for Caitlin's story, Mr Churn sits down on a chair. He glares at Caitlin while crossing his arms.
