Have you ever heard about the sun and the moon.

The friendship they shared in spite of who they were.

Every morning the sun woke and filled the sun with his light.

The moon gave his best but was never quite as bright.

The world loved the sun for it’s warmth and it’s glow,

But next to the sun, the moon could never show.

The moon felt alone, as he could never compete,

With the sun’s great bright light, and the morning’s heat.

But when the sun went away in the darkest of nights,

It was thanks to the moon that people could still see some light.
