Date: Fourth Day of the Tenth Month, Generation CCI Year VII
Dear Diary,
It was a wonderful Mid-Autumn festival at the Academy today. In the morning, we were using magic to decorate the place while the adults baked the moon biscuits which is what every student in the Academy looks forward to during the festival.
In the afternoon, I took off my uniform which I am obliged to wear as the Oracle and put on my favourite red dress.
In the evening, Evelyn and I sat round the lighted magical candles as we listen to Mrs Evengreen’s story about the moon bunny and the moon goddess. Evelyn’s mum was sure a great story teller!
At night, I lay down on the roof of the Academy, looking at the lighted and crowded streets of Magiride. There are lots of people holding lanterns on the streets. For once, I feel the urge to step out the gates for the Academy to join the festival celebration. Looking down onto the campus of the Academy, I spotted N, Ace, Evelyn and Schawn, eating the delicious moon biscuits while having a talk, younger students playing a game of tag with lanterns in their hand and trainers having a talk as they drink wine to celebrate this occasion. Everyone in the Academy was happy and everyone was carefree. I looked up towards the bright full moon and the stars, closed my eyes and wished that this happy and wonderful moment can last forever. I opened my eyes again to make sure I capture down everything of this moment. Just then, the strange vision came again….
Regards,
Destiny Silverwing
