Brought into the world with the power to control fire, Princess Audrey Rose is the heir to the throne of Orland. Audrey keeps having nightmares of her father being murdered for protecting his kingdom and ensuring the safety of his wife and daughter.

When Audrey reaches the age of nineteen, ten years after her father's death, her mother, a barbarous and cold sovereign, tries to show Audrey how to be a legitimate Queen and how to govern a realm. Since that time, Audrey has been preparing herself to control her capability so she can ensure the safety of her mother, herself, and most importantly, her kingdom.

But everything changes when a death threat shows up in Audrey's room intended for her. The kingdom is on the verge of insanity in trying to keep the princess safe. In doing so, the queen orders Audrey to remain in her room until the case is solved.

After two or three days of Audrey's imprisonment, she discovers more death threats in her room. Since no one will let her leave or trust her to solve this riddle without getting killed, Audrey takes this issue into her own hands and decides to chase down the individual who has been sending the threats of her impending doom to her room before it's too late for her. She will influence the eventual fate of Orland... for good or bad.
