In a moment of desperation, he plagiarizes a heart-wrenching Filipino Wattpad story titled "Ang Mga Lalaking Kailan Ma'y Hindi Naging Sa Akin" (The Ones I Loved That I Could Never Keep). The story goes viral. A-list actors are lining up to sign. Netflix Korea starts knocking. And fans are demanding the ending.
There's just one problem:
He has no idea how to end it.
And so begins his whirlwind misadventure in the Philippines-getting scammed at NAIA, losing his laptop in a Manila hostel, and chasing down two mysterious authors known only as Sherwin Reyes and Ate Chat, who may or may not be hiding somewhere in Batanes... or working as a barista in a random café in Makati.
Along the way, he'll face:
* UP Literature Professors who can instantly spot plagiarism
* A secret ninja author with a heartbreakingly beautiful story
* A writer's convention in BGC that turns into a manhunt
* And worst of all... a live fan Q&A panel with questions he can't answer
