"The ceremony will happen in a week, you should be grateful that he'll accept a wench like you!" Her mother opened the door so carefully that it almost met its end.
That unnecessary action caught the attention of the two females, one was
Sitting on a chair and the other was standing right beside.
Mom,at least spare the door...
"I'm so grateful for being his next victim." The bride replied with one hand on her chin.
"Selina, you're well aware that his third wife's death was another unfortunate accident!" The old woman gestured dramatically.
"Of course, they were unfortunate enough to be sold off to such a violent man." The maidservant whispered near Selina, who couldn't hold her laughter.
"You shouldn't laugh at the dead or you'll end up joining them." The queen glared, afterwards exited the bedroom.
...
"What will you do now,Selina? Your mother will really force you to marry that monster!" Taken by fear she screamed.
"I'll run away,Estelle." Calmly explained.
The plan was to hide in Estelle's house until things calmed down, subsequently move somewhere far from there.
After her maid packed some basic belongings along with her cane,They
got near the window and the princess was ready to climb down, when a sudden question interrupted her.
"Will you be alright on your own? I should go-" She was cut mid sentence.
"Don't act as if you don't know me,I played in this forest ever since I was four." The impatient royal answered.
"But-" Interjected in vain.
"If we go together, they'll check your place first thing."
"I know…" Sounded resigned.
"You'll be fine, mother doesn't bother to remember the faces of servants."
"It isn't about my safety." Estelle was apprehensive "I'm worried about you,
you've never gone to the city all by yourself."
"Trust me,I'll be knocking at your door when you least expect it." She smiled confidently.
"I still think it's a bad idea to climb down from here…You could fall."
"I'm used to going up and down high places, also this way is more fun."
"You're too careless." Her friend sighed.
"Bye for now, worrywart!" She went down in a blink of an eye and soon enough had disappeared in the middle of massive trees and medium-sized shrubs.
Selina was going to get married off to a guy who had killed his three previous wives, because to them she was a useless existence for the simple fact of being born blind.
The princess escaped with the help of Estelle, her maid and best friend. After finding out, her family sent Azad, a well known tracker, to bring her back in time for the wedding.
Will she be captured by him or she'll manage to capture his heart?
