The reporter had a sombre look on her face before the camera switched to another broadcaster. 

Kit's heart began beating a little faster. Fuck....of course there's another attack, they just can't control themselves.

He looked at the other person that was watching the news with him, with straightened posture, sat on the

 couch. Finnley shared the same expression the woman had. "Another victim? And this time, it's pretty close to us."

It was obvious how uncomfortable Finn felt. There was another murder, for christ's sake. Of course he would be uneasy. I wonder how he would react about me....

Kit gave him a long look. He would be scared for sure, maybe he would call the police on me and never want to see me again...

A little sting hit his heart, but Kit was used to feeling this way. Used to the almost everyday guilt he experienced while thinking about everything. He really wished sometimes that he didn't have a brain. To just live, carefree, with his boyfriend by his side, enjoying life. 

But instead, he had to be extremely careful every second he spent with Finn. He had to control his every move, because what would've happened if he just let loose? He had no idea, and that was enough of a reason. He could kill him, so easily....

Ah fuck....again?? Kit's incisor teeth started aching in his mouth, and itching afterwards. They, in a span of just a few seconds, had grown into two times their original length, and Kit couldn't concentrate. 

"S-sorry honey, I have to go home now.....I forgot to do some work there..." He stood up, and looked around the living room, which they were in right now. It was so easy to imagine Finn's lifeless body, right at his feet, and his....blood....just splattered everywhere. Soaking up into the armchairs, and penetrating the soft wood of the parquets.

"Oh....well, that's too bad, just be careful outside, ok?" Finnley side eyed the TV and stood up. "I love you." He, being a few inches shorter than Kit, had to get on his toes to plant a small kiss to his lips. 

Kit made his hands into fists, just trying to focus on the pain his nails were making to his palms. He reciprocated the kiss. He leaned into Finn as he gasped. Then, he suddenly moved back. 

"I love you too.....just so much......you have no idea......" Kit felt like he was gonna cry. He needed Finnley in his life, but his existence itself was a danger to him. He knew he was being selfish, and he hated himself for it. 

"B-bye." He turned around and headed for the door. "Bye Kitty!!" He replied.

Kit heard Finn's little laugh before he shut the door. The cute nickname put a smile on his lips, but the little sparkle of joy disappeared merely seconds later. Instead, his expression was dominated by a look of sorrow, guilt, and pain. 

He unfolded his fists. There were clear trails of blood coming from all the little wounds his nails made. 

Kit looked up, to see the sky and the Sun shining. Why did I have to become like this? What is my purpose? He had to shelter his gaze a bit. Finn.....I can't let him go.....I just...........

Kit's eyes started becoming watery. I......I can't live without him.........I need him.......

The feeling of bloodthirst set deep inside Kit's stomach. He scrunched up his face in disgust. .......Let's get out of here................. 

Kit didn't even want to think of what's he's about to do next, and he knew ignoring the hungry urge would just make it worse.
