After being reborn as the main character in a game he absolutely loved in his previous life, Akana Yuki is ready to find love with the many handsome and sexy male leads he can choose from. The princess being a hermaphrodite like he was, he feels comfortable in his own skin even if he's forced to wear a dress.

However, things aren't as fun as he thought. No matter what choices he makes, he is met with a dead end and has to go back to the beginning. Stuck in an endless loop and all the male leads being crazy, degrading, and unhappy with his gender, he starts going mad.

Only one character remains loyal to him though, an NPC named Phoenix who is his loyal guard. After meeting his end at the hands of the final male lead he can choose from, Akana is shocked to get a sudden message from the system: he has free will and isn't limited to a strict amount of choices anymore.

Knowing all the regular choices will lead to his death, he decides to go against the original plot and chooses his loyal guard. Still being hounded by the other leads, Akana doesn't care to follow the plot. He wants to live his own life.

Little does he know that his guard is more than he seems. Will Akana be able to find happiness and love at last? Or will he be lead into another dead end?
