Vera is a fantasy world where humans and monster of the like where at odds for centuries, humans found a way to use magic and invariantly caused a clog that cause half the world to explode. Most of those humans have died and those who were left went into hiding since then.

What's left of the planet is taking most of the magic left to keep itself alive. Magic is still ingrained in the society that was left behind and with some ingenuity, they found a way to mix technology with magic. This revolution helped create a new wave of gadgets and systems, making for an increase in jobs in the initial start.

The monsters had reclaimed past territories that had been left in shambles after the disaster caused by humans.

Vera now belongs to those who were previously misunderstood. Like all other societies, this one had it's dark parts. With belief's deeply engrained into social norms, what's left of the world is divided between divinity and magic.

Even before the world had been damaged beyond repair, this problem has been a constant struggle and seemingly has no end.

Maybe someone who knows this will do something, or they could fall into the rabbit hole of addiction and depression. Even if they did, they problem has already done the worst it could with little hope of changing it now.
