Kaito smiled warmly, sheathing his training sword. "I won't let our house down, Father."

"You never could," a gentle voice called out from the courtyard terrace. 

Sazuna Shinsei stepped forward, her warm aura radiating the deep, unconditional kindness that kept the family grounded. Right beside her ran Seki, Kaito’s twelve-year-old younger brother.

Kazuno placed his massive, calloused hands on both of his sons' shoulders, his smile widening as he looked down at his Level 1 and Level 5 boys. "Rest up tonight, boys. I shall see you both at the Altar of Baptism. Tomorrow, the world will know the names of the true heirs of House Shinsei."
