A satirical urban fantasy about love and happiness in the modern world.
Kai never had a girlfriend, and unless things change, he probably never will. He is selfish, lazy, and out of shape, and it would take no less than a miracle for him to find a relationship. Luckily for him (and unluckily for her), he is about to get his very own fairy godmother.
To win her redemption for a crime she committed against the Fairy Queen, Vira has been charged with the unenviable task of turning Kai into someone worthy of true love and helping him find his happily-ever-after.
But what is true love, and how does one become worthy of it? Naturally, Kai and Vira have very different views on that and many things besides. While they work on resolving those differences and improving Kai's situation, their lives and the lives of many others become threatened by a sinister magical conspiracy.
To overcome this supernatural peril, Kai would have to do the impossible—he would have to harness the power of love.
