Jung Ji Won couldn't see anything in front of him, or behind him, or anywhere, for that matter. It was far too dark. He deeply regretted agreeing to play hide and seek in the woods with his college friends. Especially when intoxicated. Not the best idea Choi Soojin ever had, if someone ended up dead in the morning Jung Ji Won wouldn't have been all that surprised. Choi always had these big idea's when she had been drinking too much, he couldn't help but feel worried about his senior when she got like that, well that is what he initially felt. But now Jung couldn't care less about what she gets up to. It's not his business anyway. But if he's the one that ends up dead in the morning, then it would be Jung's business because it would be her fault for dragging her friends into the nearest forest on the way back to their apartments. It just so happened to be the forest that had a whole urban legend about it. The legend was that a serial killer had claimed these woods as his own.
Frankly, when you're an intoxicated college student, stupid decisions are made. And real consequences happen from a singular stupid decision, like right now. Jung Ji Won had just tripped up on a root in the middle of the woods, or at least that's where he thought he was, he couldn't even really remember who was it. To be honest, it was probably Park Do Yoon, he has a history of being sadistic. He would probably really enjoy being it during an intense game of 'hide and seek,' like what's happening at this very moment. Jung really hoped it wasn't Park who found him, he would prefer any other person Do Yoon had probably found. He really didn't feel up to Park's torture.
After the initial shock of falling face first, Jung Ji Won looked up, covered in dirt. When Jung moved, pain rippled throughout his whole body, glancing back when his eyes had gotten used to the dark, he saw his foot had caught a root and had twisted. He's not going anywhere anytime soon. More chance of being found. In all honesty, he would rather be found than left to frolic in the woods, trying to run for his life. At this rate, if he isn't found anytime soon, he'll probably still be in the same position until morning, or maybe even the day after, it all really depended on whether or not his friends file for a missing person. But when you're stupid intoxicated college students then you'll most likely completely forget what happened to lead you back into your cosy beds while your college junior is left to suffer in the woods; which, fortunately for Ji Won is the worst-case scenario, but unfortunately for Ji Won is that his college seniors are intoxicated college students that will most likely forget in the morning and leave him to suffer: making a swift death the best-case scenario for Jung's sanity.
