to me, autumn is like a goodbye
when i see leaves starting to fall, close my eyes to the cold dry wind on my skin, it feels like i'm saying goodbye to someone - or something
maybe it's because i'm saying goodbye to a part of my life
it's a good thing to say goodbye - you give time to others - for them to heal, to cherish, to remember, to forget
i'm fine with my goodbye for life (a part of it) - i know i'll be back someday
