You’ve all read stories where the main character wakes up one day and has this call to action, some old man comes to tell them that they’re the chosen one and then they go to save the day? Well, this isn’t that kind of story.

Henry is a side character, and not a very good one at that. On his eighteenth birthday, he’s ready to do anything but embrace his destiny. The only problem is in order to go against his destiny is to go against the government. And there’s only one person who’s willing to help him with that.

Lyle is an unreliable narrator and he’s only in this ride because he can ditch school and cause a little chaos along the way. He’s got nothing to lose, so why not?

Henry will have to learn to go against everything that he’s been raised to be. Along with unresolved gay tension, an unreliable narrator, and nearly any other problem you can think of, this just got a whole lot more interesting.
