Falling in your sleep is one of the weirdest feelings an ordinary person can experience. That is also what woke a young girl up. Well, it was not only a dream. To be exact, she literally fell from her bed and smashed her face on the hard floor.
- That hurts, damn it! - she shouted out loud and rubbed her nose.
Wait, there's something wrong.
She opened her eyes slowly and tried to climb up on bed again but something felt off. Hm? That thought popped out of nowhere. But after examining her surroundings, with half opened eyes, she noticed something strange. The bed she fell from was not hers. Old, wooden frame with a few cracks here and there, covered with thin, greyish blanket was not what she expected to see. Where the hell did her bed go? She turned her head around. Her small cosy room changed into medium size chamber, with almost no furnitures beside a wardrobe - in even worse condition than a bed, and a cracked mirror hanging over a dressing table. But that is not what surprised her the most.
There were children all around her, sleeping on old mats. One girl and three boys.
'You gotta be kidding me' she thought to herself. 'There are only two options. Either I've been somehow drugged, kidnapped and brought here along with all those kids, and right now someone is evaluating my kidneys on the dark side of aliexpress or...'
Trying not to wake the children on her way, she started walking toward the mirror. 'No, no, no, there is just no way this is happening.'
She looked in the mirror. What she saw was not her short blonde hair, glasses and small brown eyes. Standing on the other side was a young girl, with long, gleaming, black hair and a bit crooked nose surrounded by freckles. The most eye-catching part of her face though was, oh sweet irony, her eyes. One beautiful and as green as dense forest and the other covered with eternal fog, with scars crossing it from all sides. It looks like someone really wanted to get rid of it.
She may not be a beauty but it's still better than what she's had until now.
WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, THAT'S NOT WHAT SHE'S SUPPOSED TO BE THINKING RIGHT NOW, IS IT?! SHE WOKE UP IN AN UNFAMILIAR PLACE AND THE FIRST THING SHE THINKS ABOUT IS HER FACE? Such a narcissist.
WAIT A SECOND HERE. WHAT THE HELL AM I EVEN THINKING ABOUT - she scolded herself.
- I was... Isekaid?!
What in all the hells... That's not how it's supposed to be.
