Jamie is a kid, who is 14 years old, but has the mind of an 11 year old. His parents try to live with his childish presence. His parents,(well, mostly his mom)think that he was born that way. Unlike most older kids, he watches the TV with comfort, he has tantrums when he thinks that he's failed something important, and he is aware that something is "wrong" with him, even though he still acts in a childish manner.
