Trumari is a Romulan. A Romulan who grew up on Vulcan. That didn't work out so well. Trumari used to be a spy. That didn't work out so well. Then she was a Maquis. That didn't work out so well. Now she's a secretary, on a Starfleet ship, stuck out in the Delta Quadrant. That is probably not going to work out so well, either. And Vorik? Vorik is a twerp.
