PLACE: Hospital just outside of Tampa, Florida 

At 5:42 p.m., a baby with skin the color of gingerbread and hair of a silky blonde color was born. Her parents, Rodger and Helen, immediately knew what to name her. 

"Julie."

They called her beautiful, wonderful, and took her home to their house right off the coast, where Julie learned to walk, talk, and write. Rodger and Helen loved Julie, and cared for her. They fed her grilled cheese every breakfast just because she adored it, so long as the crust was cut off.

Julie, they said, is a miracle from heaven.
