Kaie's Lunchbox began when my son was in the fourth grade. To make up for my lack of culinary skills, (It's peanut butter and jelly, Dad! Not jelly and peanut butter! Yecch!) I placed wee notes in Kaie's lunchbox. The notes, which began as simple doodles and silly poems, quickly evolved into a comic strip. Kaie is now in the ninth grade, and, the comic has grown with him.
