Sgt. Wells finds himself in the first all out siege of the war. He and his fire-team was heavily exposed to artillery fire as they defended the city from the siege of the enemy. It just so happened that the area they were defending with the city park. Massive and open to ordinance.

After they believe they successfully pushed out the enemy from the park, they realize that in reality the enemy had tactically retreated and called artillery. The squadron he was leading was brutally blown to pieces.

In the aftermath Sgt. Wells defects and opts to get out of the city.

It is not without consequences.
