Takashi is suffering from a light condition of moebius syndrom which doesn't allow him to express a lot of emotion. Even simple things like a smile are really hard for him.
Many people don't know how to deal with his condition, therefore Takashi prefers to stay by himself.
But then he meets Nori who gives Takashi a bit of hope that with putting in a little effort into it he can fight against his condition and finally smile again. Although, on their path the two of them meet a lot of obstacles along the way.
