keenan is a story about a struggling colony on the verge of a civil war. Three species have built and maintained an alliance for many generations, making many colonies, all bowing to the red queen. Avains being a weak but determined race with the natural ability and amplitude of flight, The humans being a powerful and magically adept race, and the Bealifs, an intelligent, docile people who have written the stories of the past for centuries. The only way to the mother empire is lost and heavily guarded by the corrupted, monsters who eradicated the Baelif people who previously kept order that is now so dwindled. The three main "heroes" being plopped in the middle of the quest, Cal, Apollo, and Iris, must venture to the queen to gain the power and wisdom to put an end to this battle before the war takes the lives of the innocent and the corrupted pounce on their next weakened victims.
