In a parallel world much like our own, monsters and mythical creatures hide in plain sight. Many live amongst us in peace but some seek to destroy society and build it back up from the ashes in their own image with one young boy and his kaiju-like abilities the key to keeping them at bay!
Ryu is a mutant, working as the secret hero Kid Kaiju to put a stop to the schemes of vampires, ghouls, giants, espers, mad scientists and more in the name of preserving peace and the fine line separating the paranormal from the normal. However, an encounter with a telepathic girl and her unbreakable sword will spell the end of his carefree adventures and the start of a truly deadly trial.
