Son Dongju was studying in the library as usual, his good friend Lee Soeho across the table. “Are you going to the party this weekend?” Soeho asked. “Are you gonna confess your love to Keonhee this weekend?” Dongju replied. “Touche.” Soeho said, rolling his eyes. The bell rang stating the third period was about to start. The two boys packed their things and made their way to the classroom. “I personally think that pi should eventually stop!” Yelled a student named Hwanwoong. “Mr. Yeo, your opinion matters, it does, but pi is pi.” Explained the teacher. “Yes I understand that, but how are we supposed to know ALL of pi?!” “I see where your confusion is, no human being could ever know all the digits of pi, which is why we use the calculator.” As the students were taught mathematics by the teacher, Dongju was diving into a book about Astronomy, Dongju knew enough about math, so much he could become a math professor in a college. He paid attention of course, took notes and everything. The bell rang after the two and a half hours of math. It was lunch.
Dongju sat in the back of the cafeteria with Soeho. “I think I’m gonna do it.” “Do what?” “Confess.” “Are you sure? Because everytime you’ve said that you end up with each of your faces three inches away from each other and then you run off.” “You seriously watch me attempt to confess?” “It’s my highlight of the year.” Dongju said smiling. “Of course it is.” Seoho said, taking a bite out of his apple. “If I do confess-” “I’m not going to the party, that’s final.” Dongju said, pointing his finger at Soeho. “There is literally nothing to be afraid of.” “Hold on.” Dongju said, opening his book bag and taking out a piece of paper. “This is a list of anything that I can screw up with at a party.” Dongju handed the paper to Soeho. “Dude this like, twelve pages long.” “I might be forgetting a few.” “Really? The first one is “Tripping on the doorstep.” “You never know.” “These are just unreasonable.” Soeho said, shaking his head and handing the list back to Dongju. “That’s your opinion, and these all are likely to happen, especially to me.” The bell rang and many students among the class room groaned. The next class was the most dreaded of all subjects in the academy.
Science. Students cleared out of the cafeteria along with Soeho and Dongju. “Finally, Science.” Dongju said with a smile on his face. “You’re crazy for liking science, you know that?” “Call me what you want, I love science and no ones gonna change that.” As Dongju was walking down the hall he noticed a boy by the lockers, a boy that made him stop in his tracks. “Dongju? You okay?” Soeho looked in the direction Dongju was looking. “Damn, that’s a piece of meat right there.” Soeho said, earning a slap on the chest from Dongju. “You’re the one who’s drooling for him, not me.” Dongju’s sleeve flew to his face as he wiped his mouth of any saliva. “‘W-we’re gonna be late.” Dongju said.
