The first tip relates to surrounding yourself with what you love. Growing up, for example, I read, watched, and played a lot of stuff in English, and that helped me a lot with my language learning. It will certainly help you too!
Keep in mind that it doesn't apply only to English. When learning German, for example, I played at least three different Pokémon games in German (which was super weird, but fun!).
