A small house where a mother lives with her son.

**Son:** Hey, Mom, good morning.

**Mother:** Good morning, honey.

**Son:** Mom, let's have a chat about our life.

**Mother:** Okay, I'm in a great mood so i will alow you to spoil it.

**Son:** How was my dad?

**Mother:** Your dad was a good man, and I loved him very much.

**Son:** Really?

**Mother:** Yes, but why do you want to know about your father? You've never asked about him before.

**Son:** I've always been curious about him, but you were too busy after Dad passed away.

**Mother:** I was busy in providing every neccessity to you.

*son:But you almost forgot to talk with us during these times.

*mother: but after work i am too much tired that i cant do anything and their are other things too.

**Son:** But don’t our relatives support us? Why do you always work so hard and never ask for help from others?

**Mother:** Because not everyone is as you think. They will help us, but at a cost.

**Son:** What cost?

**Mother:** Your respect .

**Son:** How?

**Mother:** If I take help from them, they will assist us and then tell everyone about it. But once you grow up, they will never respect your opinion because they helped us multiple times.

**Son:** Mom, I wanted to tell you something.

**Mother:** What?

**Son:** This morning, I found a mysterious letter at our door.

**Mother:** Show me.

**Son:** But nothing is written in it.

**Mother:** Let me see it.

**Son:** Okay, here it is.

Mother opens it and sees nothing, telling her son not to pick up mysterious things.

**Son:** Okay, Mom. Tell me, how did my father die? I'm old enough now to know.

**Mother:** Okay, let me tell you... Your father used to own a restaurant, but he was in so much debt that he had to close it. The lenders were pressuring him to sell the house to pay the debt, but your father's dream was to keep this house as he had made this house with all his savings and by all his heart. Due to pandemic he comes under debt to provide us facilities. He had no one to tell his situation and handled situation alone till he can handle and one day in morning i saw him crying thinking that now he have to sell his house and seeing me he stopped but it was too late and i saw him then he told me everything and said to hide this from you .

**Son:** Why didn’t he tell me?

**Mother:** Because you were too young.

**Son:** If he was in so much debt, why did he never deny me money whenever i asked him?

**Mother:** Because he loved you and never wanted you to go without money. He always wanted to fulfill all your need and be the best father for you.

**Son:** What happened to him after that?

**Mother:** One night, he went out to get your medicine, and that was the last night I saw him. He never came back; only his body did.

**Son:** What happened that night?

**Mother:** Nobody knows... The police brought his body back. Some think it was suicide, others think it was murder.

**Son:** What do you think?

**Mother:** It doesn't matter what I think.

**Son:** Why didn’t the police investigate?

**Mother:** Because in real life, you need money for the police and everyone else to work. That’s why I always tried to save money.

**Mother:** But why are you asking me all this? Is there something else in letter ?

**Son:** Yes.
