Description
Since ancient times Witches were associated with Werewolves. Whether it was the Witch turning a man into a wolf, the presence of Werewolves when Witches supposedly made their pact with the Devil, or a Witch healing a Werewolf, the two were nearly synonymous with each other.
Simply put; where Witches tread, Werewolves roam and where Werewolves tread, Witches roam.
Over time, Humans figured this out and used it to track down Witches and Werewolves, divided them and murdered them, conquering and burning their cities. Fleeing, the Witches and Werewolves sought refuge hiding in plain sight among the Humans. In order to preserve themselves while in hiding the Witches have repackaged themselves as 'Magical Girls' with tragic pasts, to great effect.
Despite this, they remain hunted.
