The continent of Dunia consists of five realms: Alfheim the empire of the elves, Midgard the land of the human kingdoms, the mountainous region of Svartalfheim championed by the dwarves, the cold, barren tundra of Jotunheim ravaged by clans of orcs and isolated giants, and Helheim ruled by the Dark Empire where the disgraced races of tieflings, dark elves, and goblins reside. All the races of Dunia are distinguished by abilities that are provided by each individual’s “mark”. Elundis marks, mostly referred to as just marks, are gifts from the gods that connect the races of Dunia with the animals that also inhabit the continent. Marks start as a small dot when a child is born and grow and develop into unique tattoo looking “marks” as the child grows and develops. Different marks correspond with different animals, giving each user a unique set of powers and skills and sometimes giving the user the physical features of that animal.
Marks are unique to the different races, as they are passed down and evolve through family lines. There are three levels of strength with Elundis marks. The first level amplifies the physical attributes of the user. When developed to the second level, people can use their mark to form a pact with an animal that they can call from the spatial plane to assist them. The strongest mark users either through rigorous training, noble birth, or a strong enough power source can eventually reach the third level and fully merge with their animal partner, enhancing their powers immensely. The strongest mark of all is the dragon mark, but only one legendary hero has ever obtained the mark of the dragon in all of Dunian history.

Thousands of years after the Battle of the Gods, carefully watching her every foot and hand placement, a small elven girl descends slowly into the center of the Elundis Canyon. Deep into the heart of the Dead Wastelands, the Elundis Canyon is home to the most condensed zone of magic in all of Dunia. Wild magical beasts roam the mountains preying on any brave adventurers that would seek to enter the canyon. This little elf, however, manages to get past all the dangers of the surrounding wilderness and continues to scale the cliffs of the canyon without any sign of fear. With her unusual light blue hair and piercing blue eyes, Allora Crystalis the elven adventurer heads deep into the canyon with one goal: To search for the mystical Elundis Core presented to her in a dream by the king of the gods, Nero. No one has ever claimed to find the Elundis Core and return alive. Said to be the source of all magic across the continent, anyone who managed to find the Elundis Core surely would change the course of history itself. With her small frame and innocent look to her eyes, no one would suspect that Allora would be the one to find the Core. However, with a heart as strong as a dragon Allora makes it to the bottom of the cliff with no trouble, sensing a large magical presence in a cave nearby.
Entering the cave Allora is instantly hit with immense magical energy coming from deeper inside. Walking by puddles that seem to disappear as she approaches and crystals that emanate with a bright purple glow, Allora continues forward as the air starts to become cold. The dark cavern suddenly fills with a bright pink light, forcing Allora to close her eyes. As she opens them back up the cave has expanded into a large room covered in stalagmites and stalactites with a strong magical aura emitting from the center. Peering through the aura, Allora finds her quarry. Floating above the cavern floor is the Elundis Core, a large dark blue shining stone glowing with a pure, intense magical energy. Captivated by the power she can sense coming from the Core, the elf calmly approaches and places her hand on the surface of the shining gem. The chilly air turns warm as Allora feels a surge of magical energy entering her body from the Core. The once quiet empty cavern starts to fill with noise. Looking around Allora sees nothing, but her ears can hear as sharp as ever the sound of a mob of beasts calling out. Wolves howl, falcons cry, boars snort, as a menagerie of the animal kingdom fills her mind. Then just as suddenly as they appeared, all the noises cease but one. Allora looks down at her hands feeling power flowing from a small black mark in her palm, as the roar of a mighty dragon echoes throughout the cave and out into the canyon.
